Chapter 2: Behaviour Science

This is an indication of why behavioural psychology works. Ways of measuring what you do so you know what is effective. Reward systems and very basic learning theory are illustrated.

Chapter 3: Smacking and Other Management Techniques

Descriptions of common methods parents use in controlling children. Smacking is not recommended in any form and the book states why aggressive management is counterproductive and harmful.

Chapter 4: The Superkids Behaviour Management System

An explanation of the way I recommend of managing children: A careful description of how to properly implement a "Time Out" system. It's no good saying "don't do this" without telling carers what else they might do- and how to do it.

Chapter 5: Troubleshooting Guide

Lists common mistakes and problems in starting to use the system. Briefly states ways to manage and operate the system in difficult circumstances. What to expect when using the system. Contains hints and tips, and summarises the advantages of using this system.
